About GRAN TENKU GRAN TENKU is a sightseeing train (4-car train) with all seats reserved. Route: Namba Station – Gokurakubashi Station (Koyasan) Stops: Namba, Shin-Imamiya, Tengachaya, Sakaihigashi, Kongo, Kawachinagano, Rinkandenentoshi, Hashimoto, Kudoyama, Gokurakubashi *Car 1 (Rest & Relax Seat) features reclining seats. Car 2 (Scenic View Seat) offers panoramic windows for scenic views. *For Cars 1 and 2, only limited express tickets are sold. A separate regular train ticket is required for boarding. *Car 1 includes a wheelchair space and a unisex accessible multi-purpose restroom. *Car 3 includes a lobby lounge and restroom. Light meals and souvenirs are available for purchase in the lobby lounge. (No seating is available.)

・There is no smoking area on the train. The use of heated tobacco products and e-cigarettes is also prohibited to maintain a comfortable environment and avoid potential issues between passengers. ・There is no designated space for large luggage. Luggage may be placed in available onboard spaces; however, space is limited. Please note that passengers are responsible for managing their own belongings. ・Tickets are available for purchase from 30 days prior to the operating date. ・Up to 8 passengers can be booked per transaction. (Reservations spanning both Car 1 and Car 2 are not permitted within a single transaction.) ・Payment is accepted by credit card only. ・Car 4 is a special space designed for spending quality time with your loved ones. Access to Car 4 is limited to passengers with a reservation for this car. Passengers in Cars 1 and 2 are kindly requested to refrain from entering Car 4, including for viewing or photography. [Refund Fee]
◆ Cars 1 & 2 ・No cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made on the purchase date (until 23:59). ・If a refund request is completed up to 3 minutes prior to the departure time, a refund will be issued with a 30% cancellation fee deducted (per seat). ・No refunds will be issued after the validity period has expired, even if the ticket remains unused.

A: All seats on this train are reserved. There are no non-reserved seats.
A: Yes, you can choose your preferred seat.
A: Chartering (exclusive use of) the train is not available.
A: You may be seated with other passengers (shared seating).
A: Smoking is prohibited in all stations and on all cars. There are no smoking areas in stations or on board. Please also refrain from using heated tobacco products and e-cigarettes.
A: There is one unisex multipurpose (accessible) restroom in Car 1, and in Car 3 there is one unisex restroom and one women-only restroom.
A: Wheelchair spaces are available in Car 1.
A: If you will be using a wheelchair, please inform station staff before boarding.
A: There is no dedicated space for large luggage. Please place it in available spaces on board, but space is limited. Please manage your belongings yourself during the trip.
A: Pets are strictly prohibited. However, assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs) are allowed.
A: If there are available seats, tickets for Cars 1 and 2 can be purchased on board. Please note an additional JPY 300 fee applies for onboard purchases. On the day of travel only, you can also make reservations at Namba Station (2F Central), Gokurakubashi Station, or Koyasan Station.

A: If there are available seats on the new train, you can change the travel date, train, and seat yourself from the E-ticket information on My Page, up to a maximum of two times. However, to change from Cars 1/2 to Car 4, you must cancel and make a new booking. Please note that a prescribed cancellation fee applies (free only on the purchase date until 23:59).

- Refunds are available only if unused, within the validity period, and up to 3 minutes before departure from the boarding station of the reserved train. Please complete the procedure yourself in this system. A prescribed fee applies.

- Refund fee: if processed up to 3 minutes before departure, 30% of the amount paid per seat.
A: Refunds for cancellations will be processed in accordance with the payment provider’s terms and conditions.
A: If operations become difficult due to natural disasters, accidents, or the spread of infectious diseases, service may be suspended. In that case, part or all of the travel price will be refunded.

A: Car 4 is a space to spend special time with someone important, so only passengers who have reserved Car 4 may enter.
Passengers in Cars 1 and 2 are asked not to visit Car 4 or take photos there. Thank you for your understanding.
A: Yes, you can charge using the power outlets. Please bring your own charging cable.
A: Yes (Osaka Free Wi‑Fi). Connection may be unstable or unavailable in some areas depending on signal conditions.
A: Commemorative boarding certificates are available, and you can stamp them with a commemorative stamp.
A: Up to two accompanying children are allowed per one "Adult" or "Child" passenger.
If seated on an adult’s lap, no fare or fee is charged.

Cancellation fees apply as follows.
- Refunds are accepted only if the ticket is unused, within its validity period, and the refund request is completed through this system no later than 3 minutes prior to the departure time of the designated train from the boarding station. A prescribed cancellation fee will apply to the refund.

- If a refund is processed up to 3 minutes prior to the departure time, a cancellation fee equivalent to 30% of the fare paid will be charged per seat.
- If the purchased train service is suspended due to an accident or other unforeseen circumstances, the full Limited Express charge will be automatically refunded to the credit card used for the original payment. Please note that it may take approximately two days for the refund to be processed.
- Once a refund is processed, a notification will be sent to your registered email address.
